Welcome to Sycamore Class
Sycamore Class are taught by Miss Rowe and are assisted by Mrs Brenton and Miss Fisher.
Our topic this term is:
This follows on from our whole school topic of Creation!
Something unusual was waiting for us when we arrived at school on Monday. There was a large footprint on the playground and a beanstalk growing in our classroom!
The class had a really exciting time putting clues together to work out what had happened! We had great class discussions and they enjoyed asking questions.
In our Science we have been learning about habitats. This week we looked at micro-habitats and we went out into the school grounds to find out what these habitats were like and how we could describe them. Soon, we will be back outside to do a bug hunt!
This week, we also joined in with a whole school fitness session on the school field.
We were very excited as we had a visit from two donkeys who came from the donkey sanctuary. We had a talk all about how they were looked after and what they needed to stay healthy. We learnt lots and really enjoyed stroking them.
