Hello everyone.
It's Star Wars Day! May the fourth be with you!!
On Friday this week, the nation will remember VE Day – the day the Second World War ended in Europe. We have a special bank holiday and, although plans have needed to change because of social isolation, there are many celebrations planned up and down the country! We have planned activities this week to help you learn a little more about VE Day and to help you prepare your own celebration with your families! There are songs to learn, bunting and spitfires to make and wartime recipes to bake! One really positive thing that has come out of this pandemic is the way the nation has come together – the VE Day celebrations are another opportunity for this, so let’s all get involved.
