P.E.

In physical education (PE) our pupils will learn:

  • to become skilful in the ways they manage their bodies
  • to apply and adapt a range of skills in a variety of challenging settings
  • to understand through their practical experience how the body responds to exercise
  • to develop habits leading to a healthy and active lifestyle
  • to appreciate the joy of movement, both practically and aesthetically
  • to develop personal and social competence and the necessary coping skills to manage success and failure in competitive and co-operative situations
  • to understand the sporting heritage of our society

  • Athletics
  • Dance
  • Games
  • Gymnastics
  • Swimming (in Class 3)
  • Outdoor and adventurous activities
  • Adventure Week (in Class 6)
